Teleplatforms and overhead crane systems

CTI is the inventor and market leader in the field of teleplatform systems for aircraft service with a market share of more than 80%. Meanwhile CTI is producing the 5th generation of teleplatforms providing enormous advantages in application as servicing a broad fleet mix with one system only and herewith guaranteeing maximum usability of the available hangar floor space.
The gained experience out of the considerable number of teleplatform projects which could be successfully finalized in the last years had a major influence on the design. CTI’s teleplatform systems can be considered as proven, optimized, modular, state-of the art and guarantee best reliability and shortest delivery deadlines.
FLEXIBLE ACCESS BY TELEPLATFORMS
Aircraft accessibility can be improved by CTI’s teleplatforms. Only these roof suspended work platforms offer the required freedom of movement.
Widely proven in the field of aircraft assembly and painting, the major plus of the CTI teleplatform arrangement is to grant access in MRO-hangars in any aircraft parking configuration: Nose-in, Tail-in and even irregularly parked aircraft can be serviced. Therefore any aircraft fleet mix can be accessed, whilst offering best possible contribution to the normal daily hangar operations.
Running on overhead crane runways, the teleplatform can be operated in any hangar area served by the crane system and allows alternating use with the crane hoist trolley. Parking stands can be provided when the equipment is not in use. Thus teleplatforms help to minimize clutter and storage requirements of floor based access platforms.
Some recent examples of new maintenance facilities incorporating CTI teleplatform technology include among others: AIRBUS (France and Germany), AMECO, GAMECO, IBERIA, MAS, MNG-TECHNICS, STARCO and VNUKOVO.
