CTI Systems is proud to announce the kick-off of its first project with China Airlines (CAL) at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. This milestone strengthens CTI’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region and introduces its Aerial Jib Platform (AJP) technology to a major airline customer.

The project focuses on Hangar 5, where CAL is modernizing its painting and maintenance operations. Located in a seismic zone, the airline selected CTI’s ground-based Large Aerial Jib Platforms (LAJPs) for their flexibility, safety, and operational efficiency.

Project Scope
CTI Systems will deliver:

  • Six (6) movable LAJPs
  • Complete power and media supply systems
  • Advanced Collision Avoidance Assistance System (CAAS)
  • Full engineering, installation, commissioning, and training

Key Benefits

  • Seamless integration into an existing hangar
  • Seismic-compliant installation
  • Support for a mixed fleet including A350, B777, and B787 aircraft
  • Full access to fuselage, wings, and stabilizers
  • Collision-free operation with CTI’s Twin-Scan CAAS
  • Optimized efficiency, minimizing risk of aircraft damage

CTI’s AJP technology builds on the company’s experience with leading aircraft manufacturers, providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for MRO operations worldwide. This project further demonstrates CTI Systems’ commitment to innovation and growing global reach.
